Celebrate Christmas in Teynham
Sunday 4th December 2022

  • Hosted by: Teynham Parish Council 
Christmas Market
Village Hall, Belle Friday Close, Teynham ME9 
  • 2pm — 6pm Christmas Shopping and Craft Market
    including stalls, gifts, arts & craft, Creepy Claws, food and a visit from Santa. All stall holder places are now filled.
  • Entrance: 50p
  • 2.30pm Father Christmas arrives with Just Dandy Horse & Carriage
  • 3pm — 5.45pm Lantern Making FREE. On behalf of the Parish Council, this session will be facilitated by Polka Dot Arts. 
  • 5.50pm Parade Assembly
  • 6pm Parade Departs

From the Village Hall to the Community Hall
  • 6pm — 6.20pm Lantern Parade
Community Hall
  • Address: Community Hall, Station Road, Teynham, ME9
  • 6.30pm Festival of Lights, including carols around the tree, singing from Jazz Hands plus a blessing of the tree. 
  • Inside the Community Hall: Refreshments and mince pies, provided by Lynsted and Teynham WI.

Drop off point: Community Hall
  • Take your wrapped presents to the Community Hall on Christmas Eve (6.30—9pm) and Father Christmas will deliver the presents to your door on Christmas Morning
