In memory of Graham Redman

In memory of
Cllr Graham Redman

1950 - 2022

Councillor Graham Redman sadly passed away
on Sunday 1st May 2022.

Graham died age 72 of liver cancer at his home in Teynham with his wife Janet, daughter Catherine and son Michael by his side.

He was diagnosed with liver cancer in December 2021.

Graham was raised in Chelmsford, Essex, and moved to Teynham when he started teaching in Sheppey.

Graham was always a keen quizzer and even had a quiz book published. After retiring in 2009 Graham took up walking, which he loved, especially the pint afterwards.

Graham became a member of Teynham Parish Council in 2021 and had high hopes of been able to contribute to the village and make it an even better place with his vast experience and knowledge.

In the short time as councillor, he showed what a great asset the parish had acquired.

Let's not forget that Graham was also seen every Christmas, as Father Christmas, delivering presents to children around the village. This was as a volunteer so that all donations would go to Demezla charity.

The funeral will be held at The Garden of England Crematorium, Sheppey Way, Bobbing, ME9 8GZ on Thursday 26th May at 11am. Flowers to family or donations can go to Cancer Research Fund.

Graham will be much missed by family and many friends.

A well respected man. Our thoughts are with you.
