A community event for the whole village, including pay-bar and food stalls, games, plus cake and pudding competition. Bring your own picnic and blanket/chairs.

12.30pm — Event Opens
1pm — Princess Olga arrives in horse and carriage to cut the ribbon
2pm — Cake Baking competition judging, by Princess Olga
3pm — Scouts Games and Races start
4pm — Raffle Draw
5pm — Event Close
Cake Baking competition
Calling all budding bakers and pudding makers!
As part of the Picnic in the Park we will be holding a cake and pudding competition. Judged by our very own local royalty. Fabulous prizes to be won. Top three recipes will be published in Teynham News.
Free entry. Bring your cakes (to the Village Hall) on the day to be judged at 2pm.
Wristbands for younger children
As part of our child protection policy, we will offer a free wristbands for all younger children — parents/guardians are encouraged to write
your contact details on the wristband so that we may reunite any lost children.

Important information
- The car park will be closed to allow space for the stalls. Please remove any vehicles off site by 08:30 on Sunday morning
- Where possible, please walk to the event.
- Please keep Belle Friday Close clear for emergency access.
- Bring your own blankets and picnic.
- Avoid glass glasses if possible
- Leave no trace - please take all items home with you
- Sorry, under local by-laws, dogs are not permitted in The Meadow, including the carpark. Assistance dogs are permitted.
- For safety, stall holder cars and other vehicles will not be permitted to move at anytime during the event. They will be held in place until 5.30pm
